Concepts

This is a teaching school, not a recruiting camp. We will not use our time on height and weight…running 40s…shuttles…vertical jumps, etc. It will be wall to wall ball…the QB way. If there are individuals that show the potential to be college players, I am sure I will get lots of calls from my friends in the business. I have every year before so I expect it to continue.

I will help each QB maximize HIS skills to be better prepared to compete and excel for their school by demonstrating their abilities. We will work hard both in the classroom and on the field but we will work smart. By establishing a fast-paced schedule, we will maximize our time for each of the sessions. You will have “homework” assigned to help you improve between sessions. We will take the time to video and review that video, enabling the player to see himself and compare himself to other guys there and to his own previous work as he improves.

If you take this seriously and put in the time and effort needed, you will improve just as my QBs have for the last 25 years. These are the same coaching points…same drills…and same concepts that I have used with all of them. They are proven and effective. The missing ingredient is YOU. Let’s work together and get you as good as you can possibly be by summer practice.

Coaches

I have been around many camps that were recruiting based…and the players and 600 of their buddies were there standing in line for 2 hrs while a few guys got to work for the coaches. The size of the classes will be limited to insure individual work and attention. The guys will see themselves on video and I will evaluate and suggest ways to improve after the camp is over. All coaches with participants are welcome to attend and watch the drills and the meetings.

The classroom work will include sessions on mechanics, reading coverage, eye use and pump fakes, reading keys on basic routes combinations, and QB thought process as well as watching the individual videos we just shot.
